iCarta iPod Stereo Dock and Bath Tissue Holder

So while surfing the net today, I came across a product listed on Amazon as the iCarta iPod Stereo Dock and Bath Tissue Holder.

I seriously thought this was a joke at first, but no, Amazon is really selling this little piece of machinery. Given, I don't think it's a horrible idea to have some sort of jukebox set up in your bathroom for playing music while cleaning or taking a shower. But do you seriously need a toilet paper holder/iPod dock?

That's just asking to get some kind of illness, essentially making your iPod a farm for germs to travel from your bathroom, to anywhere you decide to bring it with you. You could be giving your friends pink eye as you walk down the street and turn your iPod down to shake their hand. You could also be giving yourself a bad time if you touch your iPod before eating something, say sushi?

Here's my suggestion, bring your iPod docked stereo and plug it into the wall, place it away from any wet spots in the bathroom, or do what I do, set up a set of speakers on a shelf and plug your ipod into that.

The last thing I'd want to see is a large brown stain streaked across my iPod after coming out of the bathroom. That's just gross

Sweeney Todd Promo Pics, Clips and Interview

Last night I saw the trailer on TV for the new Tim Burton movie entitled Sweeney Todd. From what I've found online, apparently this new film, coming out this Christmas, is a murder-musical, with an all-star cast backing.

Starring in the movie is a veteran of Burton films of the past, Johnny Depp, along with many established actors including Alan Rickman, Sasha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter and others. You can read an interview with all the actors here at the IESB website.

The movie is about a barber who transitions into this slasher murderer. From the promo pictures it looks like the movie will have a very typical Burton-esk dark and grey look to it like Sleepy Hallow. Hopefully the movie is as good as it looks, and with a supporting cast as great as this, Burton would have little excuse to fudge this one up.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Pics

In long anticipation of the next installment of Indiana Jones, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, here are some pictures I recently aquired online. I pray beyond a prayer that this movie is good. I'm no fan of Shia LeBuff what-so-ever, though I heard Transformers was good I still refuse to see it, but I'm hoping that Harrison Ford will pick up the slack. From the looks of these pictures, hopefully we're in store for another great Indy flick.

They're definitely lit well, and show a nice change from her cold yet sexy persona in Heroes. If anyone knows where these are from, give me a heads up and I will credit them properly.

Oh Guitar Hero 3, How I Want You To Rock My Face Off

So I've heard nothing but rave reviews about this Guitar Hero 3 game. I was hanging out with a friend this weekend and he went on about the songs and the difficulty, so I'm intrigued.

Given, I have 1 and 2 already, and the only reason I haven't gotten the 80's edition is because of the reduced number of songs and the lack of extras. But I will once it's a bit cheaper. But this one is supposed to have a great track listing, including one of my favorite bands, Tenacious D.

I'm going to head out to Best Buy in a bit to finally join the craze that is this Guitar Hero phenomena, but in the meantime, how is everyone else liking this game? And how does it compare to Rock Band, though I'm not that interested in dropping all that money and devoting a room to one game.

I'll post again later on with my review.
