These pictures are from a Japanese magazine, Roadshow, showing pictures of the crew of the new Live Action Dragonball Z Movie. The prospect of a live-action Dragonball Z movie makes me giggle profusely. I have the live action Dragonball movie, entitled Dragonball The Magic Begins, and it is absolutely ridiculous. The movie is due out in 2009.

Dragonball is the best-seller manga from Weekly Shonen Jump. Original manga is made up of 42 volumes in a epic story. The animation has aired overseas, and has hardcore fans all over the world. But how will they make it into a movie ?

Due to time constraints, I’m sorry I can’t adopt all the wonderful things from the original, but I’m happy I’m involved in this movie and I think it turned out well. I think the manga readers will find [many] things they have liked in the manga, that is, the spirit of the original,” director James Wong said.
