New Heath Ledger Joker Pictures

These are new pictures that surfaced on the internet recently of Heath Ledger. These are from the upcoming Batman movie The Dark Knight, where he plays the Joker.

From the few pictures that they've revealed of him so far, he looks creepy as hell. Hopefully the visuals match his performance in the movie. In an interview I've read recently, Ledger reportedly locked himself into his hotel room in England for a month to perfect the entire persona of Joker for this role; trying out different voicing and character movements.

Batman The Dark Knight comes to theaters July 18th, 2008.

day-um....if that character was constantly in HL's head, no wonder he had trouble sleeping.....think I'll pass on this Batman movie, I'm old enough to remember the good ole days when it was tame and just fun.

I think he was doing too much cocaine (in what form, maybe even smoking it, like crack...). When he was out of his stash, or when he felt he needed to stop, the crash was too much for him. He didn't want to go through the wigging out, and thought that if he went to sleep, he could avoid this painful process. So, he took as much sleeping pills as he could, and the combination killed him. I could be wrong, but that is the only reason I can think of, unless he committed suicide. We all know that the media reports suggest otherwise. What do you think?

Great actor! he seems to be a very enigmatic joker! I am so sad to hear the news about his demise...

reminds me of "the crow" with Brandon Lee. Both great actors, so sad to leave at such an early age.

I think he will be the darkest joker's we have seen, seeing how this was Heath's last role I believe he played it to the fullest considering Jack Nicholson who is an excellent actor I believe he will do a great job!

I believe this movie will be one of Heath's greatest job's considering everyone want's to see if he's going to do a better job than the one and only Jack Nicholson. Me personally I think Heath is a one of a kind actor and will be missed truly.

Heath did an amazing job playing the Joker in The Dark Knight. It's such a shame that he died, this had to have been his best role. And anyone who criticizes him on his death, should be ashamed of themselves. He made it farther in life than you did, and in a short amount of time.
R.I.P. Heath <3
