NYC 1930s Style V-Train Running Today Only

For today only, Sunday December 2nd, New York City Transit is running a train on the V line from 1937. They've revived the old train as a holiday treat to riders.

The subway train features wicker seats, ceiling fans and advertisements from when it was first put in service. It was originally retired back in the 70's.

The train is scheduled to run today between 10 am and 5 pm between Queens Plaza and 2nd Avenue.
